“Killing time.”
“What pays the rent.”
These are amongst many underwhelming but accurate descriptions of how people see their occupation. That’s rather tragic when you think about how much time, effort and stress many give away much of their waking hours to when it comes to their work. A recent poll reflects this more formally.
As we plunge into another year, let’s remember this..
“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.”
Colossians 3:23-24
Whatever and wherever it may be, work purposefully and gloriously because your work isn’t for something but for Some One.
