Don’t feel this affects you since you don’t go to a gym? Well, since freedom of conscience affects everyone, these do:
- Two ministers facing jail and fines for declining to be involved in marriage ceremony.
- A mayor pushing to review the communications and sermons of 5 pastors.
- A business man ordered to undergo re-education for refusing to produce a product which is against his principles.
These are but three among numerous examples of another type of point down the slope. And all this is happening in the apparent “Home of the free” – not so if you allow the law to be abused.
The experience of others ought be lessons to us. May we learn them and stay free. For now, we are but the future is always there to be shaped – please keep your hand and prayers in shaping it….it takes All Of Us.
