“An Attitude of Gratitude” is a catchy common phrase. While the routine of reflecting on how you have been helped is good, the routine of helping others is better.
That’s because gratitude, either for receiving or giving sincere help, triggers the same neurological activity .
Gratitude doesn’t just come from reflecting on what you have received, it also comes from giving.
The science has caught up with The Bible.
“By all these things, I have shown you that by working in this way we must help the weak, and remember the words of the Lord Jesus that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Acts 20:35
