“You know how to have a good time but do you know how to have a bad time?”
My wife and I have the privilege of ministering to those in our congregation who are in the singles chapter of their lives. That’s one of the key points we make. In other words, it isn’t just about how you two get along, it’s also about how you do when you don’t either because of each other or due to the inevitable injustices of life.
We’re all messed up. In some ways or another and to varying extremes, we’re all messed up. All of us. And this world constantly tries to add to this.
The good news is, God can fix it all. The challenging news is, He chooses to let some of that happen through our own decisions. So therein is the quality to look for in others. Matter of fact, a quality to honestly ask of ourselves.
