Social Distancing

We are in the middle of this generation’s defining social and economic disruption. But some things stay the same – Social Distancing. The infections of the likes of Prince Charles and Tom Hanks make for celebrity pathology headlines which seem to imply the special virulence of COVID-19. In reality, they only show us we have more in common than not.

Spiritually, there is no social distancing in our global human family. We have the same needs and a shared saviour. May the enforced physical distancing remind us of our need for each other. And may it be a time for us to grow closer to those close to us. All of us.
