Join The Dots

The shortsighted often accuse others of scaremongering. This has been said of joining the dots between redefining marriage and the future effects on women and children.
Just this morning, these dots were on the ABC’s Radio National Breakfast program. Unfortunately, they didn’t join them. There was an interview with a politician which predictably threw in some airtime at the end to push the Yes vote for redefining marriage (at 7 minutes 50 seconds). Also predictably, there was no discussion of the wider issues in it.
Then straight after that interview was one pushing commercial surrogacy with the Chief Justice of the Family Court. And again, no discussion on the wider issue of redefining marriage creating a subclass of “breeders” with this.

One only wishes it was scaremongering.
