Many of the parades which “celebrate” alternate sexual practices are often called “pride” events. Given the consequences that aberrant levels of pride produce, this title is more insightful and ironic than many realise.
Pride is a risk for anyone and its corrosive effects are magnified across a culture when allowed to run rampant in its leadership.
Proverbs 16:18
And pride certainly does produce falls. Often unexpectedly and spectacularly so given the mindset of the victim prior to it.
As previously documented, Roz Ward was pridefully declaring that parents had no right to parent their own children as she disclosed that the “Safe Schools” program was really indoctrination in disguise. Unfortunately for her, she didn’t change the trajectory of her declarations and they have now even alienated her from her previous allies.

That’s little comfort given she’s still involved with “Safe Schools”. As a matter of fact, “Safe Schools” and others like it still plague our education system. So this is a step in the right direction but the journey is ongoing. I encourage you to continue until the job is done.
If that’s what happens to individuals snared by pride, what happens to societies which are led by the prideful? They breed more of the same with arrogant and violent results.
Take the previously mentioned ”Community Action Against Homophobia”. This organisation’s aim and worldview is clearly stated in its name. They engage in protest activity which is possibly innocent enough save for the fact that when they say protest, they approach it with this type of mindset (from its Facebook page).
While inexcusable, it’s possible that this could just be bad behaviour which social media can induce (as previously documented here). Unfortunately, it is more than this when you see them ransacking of the office an Australian politician (previously documented here). They have since tried to bully him into silence by pressuring a host venue to cancel an event he was talking at just because he dared to question the agenda behind the “Safe Schools” program.
If we don’t approve of such behaviour in those under our influence^, why would we approve, let alone vote in such individuals or attitudes into power? Once again, I encourage you to do something about this.
And lest we get prideful ourselves, never forget to keep such individuals like Roz in prayer because…
