The constant news stream of ISIS atrocities is shocking. But more shocking yet is some of the reaction to this – forgiveness. This is the scandal, the shocking nature of Amazing Grace.
As Christians, we are called to be living sacrifices. It is challenging to see just how much God can trust some with this sacred honour. It is also humbling – are we ourselves as trustworthy?
“I have to forgive them. Not because I have because it’s order. But we have to forgive because to let the grace transfer from generation to generation. If not, that means the pain and the hate will close the way to the Grace of God.”

This is power of forgiveness – a force strong enough to hold God to a Cross. This is how Saul became Paul. This the force which confronted an ISIS fighter…
