Father Glory

“Children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children is their fathers.”
Prov 17:6 (emphasis mine)

I was talking to someone who recently came out of jail. Predictably, one of challenges he faced was growing up without a father. I had read the above verse only that morning and the latter part of it had stuck in my mind prior to this later conversation. It certainly stuck out more with the person now before me.

Gentleman, and fathers in particular, are you one who has Godly glory to pass onto your child or child to be? There is your challenge but also your potential.
