You may be aware of the murder of James Foley at the hands of ISIS. Whilst this isn’t the only ghastly act they have engaged in, it is one which has captured much of the Western Media’s attention.

Let us work and pray against what is happening over there.
Let us not forget who is ultimately in charge and it isn’t those thugs.
And whilst what is happening over there is ghastly, let’s not forget that we only think it so because God specialises in redeeming people and history. It wasn’t that long ago that the powers to be thought of crucifixion as a legitimate punishment. May it be so with those perpetrating these crimes now.
